Cyber Concept ready to compete
Zeeho is an electric vehicle brand from Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFmoto. In August 2018, CF moto announced a decision to enter the electric vehicles segment with the brand name Zeeho. From these electric vehicles, Zeeho showcases their Cyber concept and mentions its specifications which are interesting. After going through these specifications, the next thing that strikes our brains is whether Cyber Concept ready to compete with Indian E-scooters?
About Cyber concept
The scooter has a design that can capture attention very quickly. This is due to the design of Kiska which is also behind the designs of KTM motorcycles. To match this futuristic design of the scooter, Zeeho offers advanced features to make it truly futuristic. This scooter has a user-customizable dashboard that enables functions such as the keyless system (mobile unlock), voice commands and also remote diagnostics through ZeehoApp.
In addition, Zeeho has a positioning system installed that uses five live-tracking systems (GPS, Beidou, Cellular, Galileo, Glonass) that can be tracked for security purposes. Also, the scooter has 6 High-resolution cameras which provide the 360° obstacle warning system for the safety of the rider. The Zeeho app can also provide users with 24-hour social networking and the cyber concept comes with AR helmet as an accessory.
Technical Overview
The pouch-style lithium-ion battery from Farasis Energy can store up to 4kWh of energy. This battery pack can provide a range of 130 km or above as per the NEDC standard. It has a 2500 cycle lifespan or eight years and up to 300,000km combined with operating temperatures of -20° to 55° which is apt for most climatic conditions.
It has a 10 KW mid-drive motor which can accelerate the scooter up to 50 kmph in 2.9 seconds and offers a top speed of around 110 kmph.
Conclusion
The scooter might arrive in India by the end of 2021 after its global launch. The electric scooter might face tough competition from the local electric scooters like Ather, Chetak and the upcoming Ola. This is due to the fact that India is the world’s largest two-wheeler market where local and global two-wheeler manufacturers compete hard.
