The British brand MG Motors India announced a partnership with Finland based Fortum to install 50 Kilowatt DC fast EV charging stations in India.
MG Motors joins hands with Fortum to launch EV Charging stations
Under the partnership, Fortum will install KW CCS/CHAdeMO DC fast public charging stations for electric vehicles across the showrooms of MG’s in five cities in Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Ahmedabad by September.
One charging station installation will be done at the MG’s state-of-the-art showroom at Gurugram. These smart chargers are used by the EV users by registering with Fortum India via its Mobile phone App.
The company’s MG EZs, electric compact SUV is best designed with the capacity for five. The pure electric car is meant to reduce the pollution levels in the country.
