The FAME-II scheme will focus mainly on public transport, commercial vehicles, and private electric car owners, two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

Kerala State Road Transport Corporation

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation

Similarly, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is planning to buy 100 e-buses, which will be completely funded by the State government of India.

This way targeting Public transports may lead to reduce huge amounts of CO2 emissions from the air. As in India most of the people travel using public transports on regular bases.
