The low-speed electric two-wheelers are mostly for utility, last-mile solutions and for the elderly. About Uton Energia
Uton Energia is an Indian Electric two-wheeler startup from the city of Hyderabad. The startup entered the market a few months ago by Sriharsha Vardhan kanumalla after the research and development for Forty-five. Previously, the founder has work experience in the automotive sector and now he decided to invade this personal transportation space with his team.
The startup currently focuses on creating a new trend in low-speed electric two-wheelers in India. Forty-five is the first variant from Uton Energia and also the output of their research and development.
About Forty-five
The short parallelogram frame offers a relaxed seating posture with a single comfortable seat for the rider. Forty-five has fat tires for extra traction and reduced pothole impact which eliminates the need for shock absorbers. Also, the fat tires help in improvising looks which is an added advantage. The front and rear hydraulic disc brakes offer more accurate braking of forty-five.
Technical overview
Since forty-five is a low-speed two-wheeler, the 48V mid-drive motor may offer a top speed of around 25kmph. The detachable battery pack underneath the seat offers a range of 65 km and its recharge takes up to 8o min.
Conclusion
The cost of this E-bike is around 35,000 INR and it comes with a lifetime warranty on frame, two years battery warranty, a portable charger, etc.
