Now, Y6S plus autonomous eVTOL aircraft is trying to bring these autonomous abilities to Civil aviation.

About Autonomous flight

Founded by British entrepreneur Martin Warner, autonomous mobility designs and manufactures eVTOL aircraft. Their goal is to solve worldwide transportation challenges so that passengers can travel like never before.

Autonomous flight indicates the Morgan Stanley estimation statement which mentions that the eVTOL market will be worth $1.5 trillion by 2040. The aircraft manufacturer is confident about this eVTOLs scenario impacting the lives of millions and they are an important part of this journey.

Technical overview

The title of the aircraft is Y6S Plus in which we assume that ” Y” is the positioning of rotors in a Y shape and 6 is seating capacity. The aircraft has an operational range of 128 km and it has a cruising speed of 200 kmph. The autonomous aircraft has 6 independent rotors with triple redundancy flight control. The aircraft has a carbon fibre composite body which achieves the goal of being light and strong. With the added advantage of being an eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing), there is no requirement for a runway.
