Indian Automotive industry is launching numerous SUVs in this year 2019. The major automaker like Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hyundai and Nissan have introduced the SUVs of different sizes. 

EVs are popular for their unique features zero-emission, silent, and speed making the environment clean, green and eco-friendly and reducing pollution levels from the country. Here are some of the Top Electric Cars in India 2019.

Hyundai Kona




Hyundai Kona Electric Car is an electric car from Hyundai Motors. Hyundai Kona electric SUV launched on July 9th and has received 120 bookings in 10 days of launch. The company received 10,000 test drive customer requests for Kona. It is available in 15 dealerships across 11 cities in IndiaThe expected price of the Ev is around Rs.25.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

MG Motors will launch its first electric SUV eZS in mid-October or till December costing below Rs 25 Lakh in India, cheaper than any SUVs. MG Hector to launch it in the second half of the year. It will become the second electric vehicle to launch in India by MG Motors.

Specifications 

MG eZS electric is best suitable on Indian roads as it can run for 428 km on a full charge if the speed is maintained 60 km/hour. It gives a mileage of about 400 km.

It has the fast charging DC (direct current) to charge the eZS’s batteries up to 80 percent which takes about 30 minutes. A slow charger AC (alternating current) will take six hours to fully charge the vehicle. The expected price of MG eZS is 20-23 lakh.

Tigor EV is the all-electric car launched by Tata Motors in 2018 Auto expo. It is available in three variants divided into Basic, Premium and High versions. The price of Tigor EV is around 12 Lakhs.

The expected price of an EV is around 1.5 Cr.
