About 450X
450x is the third electric scooter model from Bengaluru based electric scooter manufacturer. According to manufacture claims, Ather 450X offers a range of 85 km. The electric scooter has a 6 kW peak power motor which gives a torque of 26Nm. Ather 450X has a top speed of 80kmph and it can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
The scooter has 4-speed modes which are Eco, Ride, sports and Ather’s special Warp mode. Ather offers 3 charging modes for this scooter which is fast charging grid available at few places as a network in a particular city, and Ather dot charger for home installation, and a portable charger. Ather grid’s fast charger can recharge in under two hours while the Ather Dot takes up to 4 hours approximately. However, the portable charger of rather can take up to 7-8 hours for a full recharge.
General specifications
Apart from this, the scooter has a 22L of storage space which has a place for a helmet along with the portable charger. A 7″ touch screen display is similar to a smartphone in terms of function by offering features like navigation, vehicle functions and also Document storage feature. It comes with front and rear disc brakes along with the reverse mode.
Customer review
Coming to the customer review, our Ather 450X customer rides this electric scooter more than an average scooter rider. He shifted to an electric two-wheeler after using a petrol motorcycle after the increase in fuel prices. His initial idea is to purchase an electric motorcycle but he is convinced by the looks and performance of this scooter.
He mentions his problem with the display which may be fixed by Ather in the next OTA update and expects more range for this scooter pricing. Overall, he is satisfied with this scooter and he is also comfortable in suggesting this electric scooter to others.
