Tork Motors sets up 1st EV charging station-launching electric motorcycle in Dec

A pune based startup Tork Motors has set up its first electric vehicle charging stations in India. This charging station is installed at Cafe Peter’s Bund Garden Road outlet in Pune.

This EV charging station can be used by any electric vehicle that has a GB/T plug. It is made to suit the Indian EV specifications. The company is willing to set up more such charging stations starting with Maharashtra and to other regions.

The EV charging station comes with a secure connector that it helps to offer a fast charging option also. The chargers have a capacity up to a 100V battery. The company will also add a plethora chargers that will help to charge any EV in the market.

The founder and CEO of Tork Motors says that “With the launch of our first EV charging station, we seek to drive the adoption of e-vehicles and especially electric motorcycles in India.We are excited to unveil the first public fast-charging station in our home city of Pune and consider it to be a step towards creating an easy to discover and accessible Tork charging network, reflecting our company’s vision. This move is also in line with our growth plans of offering a holistic and hassle-free experience to the consumer.”

The company made a hint to launch its electric T6X motorcycle at the end of the year. When launch it will compete with the Revolt’s RV400.
