Revolt RV400-India’s First Electric Motorcycle launched today by Revolt Motors. The Motorcycle gets an ARAI certified range of 156km per charge and can be charged to a 15-ampere socket for a full charge in four hours.

It comes with a swappable battery that can be ordered through the company’s mobile phone application and can be delivered to the said the location at your convenient time.
With the help of a mobile phone application, you can locate y our nearest battery swapping station. Swapping of the battery takes only 30 seconds. The app keeps a tab on the swap order history.
Unique Features of Revolt RV400
It has some unique features such as geofencing, anti-theft and geotagging. The application also gives the information about the available range, total riding hours and real-time diagnostics.
It also gave an option of artificial engine sound that can be switched on or off by the user. The application also shows information about the sound.
Talking about the features it has a similar part as a conventional motorcycle, upside-down forks in the front and a mono shock at the back. It also has an all-digital instrument cluster. It gets disc brakes at both end sides.
As of now, the bike is available in two colors, Red and Black.
Electric Motorcycle bookings start on June 25, 2019
The bookings of the electric bike, Revolt RV400 will start on June 25, 2019, in Delhi, India. The bike can be booked on the company’s website through the website ‘Amazon.’
The bookings start in Delhi and in the next four months it follows in other NCR regions, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, and Chennai.
Revolt RV400 competitors Yamaha FZ-S, Suzuki Gixxer 155
The price is not yet disclosed it will be announced soon. But we can a expect a price Rs 1 lakh or less, ex-showroom. The Revolt RV400 will compete with other 150cc petrol-powered motorcycles such as Yamaha FZ-S, Suzuki Gixxer 155.
