Odisha invites tenders for 100 Electric Rickshaws & Carts
The tender is for three types of electric vehicles, the categories are:
Category-A
Design, supply, and maintenance for a period of 5 years of Electric Rickshaw (Four Seater) for Passenger use- 25 units
Category-B
Design, supply, and maintenance for a period of 5 years of Electric Cart with Container- 25 units.
Category-C
Design, supply, and maintenance for a period of 5 years of Electric Cart with AC Freezer units-50 units.
The last date for submitting bids online is September 16, 2019, and the deadline for submitting the hard copy of the bids is September 19, 2019.
The eligibility criteria for bidders
- The eligibility criteria for bidders require them to be a company or a partnership firm registered in the country.
- The bidders must have a minimum cumulative turnover of Rs 50,00,000/- over
last three years exclusively in the business of supplying Electric Vehicles. - The bidder must have supplied a minimum 30 number of Electric Vehicle for
Central Govt/ Any State Govt./ PSUs/ Govt Agency/ Bodies, Health Institutions, Medical Colleges & Hospital, Universities and other Educational Institutions in the last 3 years. - The products offered by the bidder should confirm to the transportation of good
materials and rules framed under Motor Vehicle Rule Act. - The base model of the Electronic Battery Operated Vehicle must have been
certified by authorized Motor Vehicle Certification agency, viz. International
Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), Automotive Research Association
of India (ARAI). - The E-Rickshaw/E-Cart design and make should be in commercial line and
should be capable of customization as per the requirement of OREDA.
