Husqvarna E-Pilen electric bike concept unveiled

Husqvarna has unveiled its electric bike concept E-Pilen and it is likely to go on sale in 2022. The E-Pilen concept is the company’s vision of the future of e-mobility. The electric concept is inspired by the company’s pioneer design models-Vitpilen and Svartpilen. The Husqvarna motorcycle at current is a street range that is well known for its progressive, smart, dynamic and purely design-oriented. So, we can expect a similar thing coming to the electric vehicles as well. The E-Pilen is giving a clear statement for its valuable E-Mobility line. It has been developed especially for the urban commuter and leisure rider.

The company has unveiled on its Twitter account that ” We are entering the world of e-mobility with our ground-breaking E-Pilen Concept.”

While we look at specifications for Husqvarna E-Pilen electric bike concept, it is powered by an 8 kW output and will provide a range of 100 kilometres. It comes with all battery options both fixed and swappable solutions. It features a modular and swappable battery system that allows easy and more options of charging a vehicle.

Its dimensions such as wheels, single disc and 43mm USD fork and other such things are similar to the 250. It gets the trademark round LED headlamp in front and in the rear it gets minimal number plate and indicators. Its tyre also looks similar to the 150-section rubber on the petrol-powered Husqvarna 250s.

It comes with all battery options both fixed and swappable solutions. It features a modular and swappable battery system that allows easy and more options of charging a vehicle. The company has not yet revealed the battery capacity and some other technical specifications. The E-Pilen is to be manufactured at Bajaj’s plant in Chakan and Pune.
