
Genesis teased a new concept electric car
Genesis a luxury car manufacturer has teased its upcoming electric coupe concept car ahead of its debut. In the teaser video, we can see the design of the car and it did mention introducing the Genesis X Concept and is believed to be an Essentia electric coupe.
The Genesis teased video clearly shows the distinctive grille design connected with headlamps. Its headlights seem to LED matrix and it has sleek taillights and a concave rear just like Essentia. The headlights go all the way to the sides of the fenders from the front wheels.
Genesis Essentia electric coupe will come with multiple electric motors. It can accelerate 0-100 kmph in about 3 seconds. The Genesis Essentia concept car was showcased for the first time in 2018 at the New York Auto Show.
Genesis teased a new concept electric car
The Essentia project will act as a model for a new luxury carmaker. It is the brainchild of ex-Bentley, Lamborghini, Audi and Skoda design director, Luc Donckerwolke.
The four-seat X concept features a driver-focused wraparound cockpit, with a deep tobacco brown tone up front matched to grey trim in the doors and rear seats.
Speaking on its purpose, Genesis’s global design chief SangYup Lee says, “The Genesis X Concept can be described as the ultimate vision of Athletic Elegance, the inherent design language of Genesis.”
“The signature Two Lines theme and sustainable luxury will be blueprints for the futuristic designs and state-of-the-art technologies that Genesis seeks to adopt in its future models.”
