Born in January 2019 in Delhi, Blu Smart Mobility is an electric cab-hailing platform launched by its Co-Founders Puneet Singh Jaggi, Anmol Singh Jaggi and Punit K Goyal is doing wonders to the environment and the people leaving in it. It is the India’s first all electric shared mobility platform for affordable, efficient, smart and sustainable transportation.

The cab-hailing platform also offers subscription based car rentals, ride sharing on both electric cars and bikes and shared electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Delhi NCR region.

The startup is 100% electric mobility platform partners with world’s leading electric vehicle manufactures. It is building the smart electric on-demand mobility platform which covers the entire value chain of smart mobility, smart charging and smart parking. Blu Smart Mobility is launched in association with Mahindra Electric in Delhi-NCR.

To use this facility for intra-city commutes, one can book cabs using smartphones on their ‘Blu Smart Mobility’ app.

Uses luxury electric cars 




The company currently uses Mahindra Electric’s eVeritos electric cars and Tigor, Nissan leaf, Hyundai Kona, BMW i3 and Tesla 3 luxury electric cars are in their future bucket list.

During the launch the company had a fleet of 70 eVeritos and plans to expand it more to 500 operational EVs by April 2020.

The users will get a benefit of Surge pricing, they will not have any surge pricing. It will cost them Rs 14-15 per kilometer.

Blu-Smart the host of charging stations 

Not only this, the startup will also be a host of charging stations available across the city. The operational charging stations available in the city are 15 and the company is looking forward to add 50 more charging stations by August 2019.

The charging stations it using is Bharat DC fast charging stations with the capacity of 15-20kW each. The startup is also planning to bring in the charging ports based on either the Japanese CHAdeMO or European CCS standard.

Recently the startup has also raised an angel round of $3 million from KA Enterprises, the investment office of Deepika Padukone, JITO Angel Network, Kalpavriksh Trust (Centrum VC Fund), Survam Partners ( family of Hero Group’s Suman Kant Munjal), etc.

The angel investors includes Rajesh Agarwal, Co-founder, Micromax; Sanjiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Capital; Rajat Gupta, ex-Global MD McKinsey, Rohit Chanana, ex-President Strategy, Hero Corporate Services, among others.
