Electric scooter FTS.02 launched in India by TronX Motors
The Hyderabad based TronX Motors partnered with the Freego Global to launch the FTS.02 an electric scooter especially for the shared mobility market on campuses.

The FTS.02 gives a range of 40 km and comes with a swappable IP67 rated battery pack. It has a 250 W electric motor that can gives a maximum speed of 25 kmph and comes with 3 different riding modes. Currently, it is available for the test runs for companies on a reservation basis and orders can be placed in the last week of September.
TronX Motors
TronX Motors earlier known as Volta Motors founded in 2015 for design and development of advanced electric vehicles. The company focuses on providing the daily commutes experience in India by their advanced autonomous and electric technologies in the Indian markets.
Previously the company has also launched the TronX One, India’s Smart Crossover E-bike in 2018. In the last few months, it has also added some products in its portfolio.
Coming to the FTS.O2 features, it has a smart IoT lock that monitors and tracks the scooter, geo monitoring, live battery status when charging or discharging, remote motor, a sturdy V neck design, an LED display to access features, a wide footboard best suited for riding in Indian conditions at campuses.
The company’s Founder and CEO, Anoop Nishanth said that “We are launching this product to Fastrack adaptability in sharing businesses. We are very focused to launch new products in India for the micro-mobility sector. We are investing locally in everything from design, development, prototype, testing to the end product which will provide opportunities for local talent and Indian vendors. We are also launching software IoT solutions for FTS.02 that can be used to operate FTS.02 and upcoming products for Rental businesses,”
