EV Battery Technologies
Battery is the most essential key component of an Electric vehicle. It decides the cost of the vehicle as its price occupies nearly 50% in the total price of an EV.
Currently, most of the electric vehicles are powered by Lithium-ion batteries. But in India, there is scarcity of Lithium reserves. So, we are importing them from other countries like China, Chile, Australia etc. This results in the high prices of Electric vehicles.
Therefore, in this regard it is very necessary to invent and adopt newer battery technologies which increase range and decrease the cost of EVs. Starting from Graphene battery technology to Iron-ion batteries and Aluminum Air batteries, many EV enthusiasts or Scientists inventing newer innovative technologies to create cost-efficient batteries.
So, here in this section we introduce the latest battery technologies invented by such Electronic magicians.
