BMW is heating up the game with their recent announcement of the i4 Gran coupe. Recently, BMW gave us a first look at its i4 electric car during an annual conference. The German automaker is always active in the healthy german automotive competition. But now it seems to have i4 which is not only a german competitor but also a global EV competitor. About BMW i4
BMW i4 will be the third all-electric car in the i series. Initially, the carmaker has two electric cars which are i3 and iX3. The upcoming i4 is similar to iX3 in terms of design inspiration. From an external perspective, i4 is similar to the 4-series Gran coupe just like similarities between X3 and iX3. In addition to the 4-series similar looks, the car has massive front grills and cool five-spoke alloy wheels. The car is offered in several variants which include an M variant too.
Technical overview
BMW didn’t reveal a lot of details about this i4 Gran coupe. The estimated range among the top range i4 variant is around 480 km and it has a power output of 500 hp. The acceleration of the i4 is around 4 seconds to reach a speed of up to 98 kmph.
There are no official images of the car’s interiors either. According to BMW, it has a new infotainment platform, complete with optional embedded 5G connectivity, more advanced voice control, new graphics and a dual-display on the dashboard, and features designed to make it a perfect electric vehicle.
Conclusion
Just like any other details about this car, the price is also unknown yet. According to BMW, the car might be available for the international markets very soon. Also, BMW plans fully-electric versions of its 5 Series sedan and X1 crossover.
