Avis India partners with quikk for EVs fleet

Avis India made an announcement that it has partnered with quikk India to provide corporate electric mobility services.




As per the partnership, both the companies have developed an innovative, integrated AI-based model that combines transportation services with affordable charging infrastructure solutions.

The partnership wants to transform the EV space even more like in developing battery performance and reducing the cost of EVs in the next 12-18 months said Avis India.

MD & CEO of AVIS India, said, “We are providing new-age and intelligent electric mobility solutions aimed at employee transportation and chauffeur-driven services in India.”The service will be first rolled out in the Delhi-NCR area, followed by other metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

The joint venture’s services will be first available in Delhi-NCR area and later on in other metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

Sahara EVOLS partnered with Hero Electric 




Recently, Sahara India EVOLS partnered with Hero Electric. AE-47 electric scooter is manufactured as a joint venture of Sahara India and Hero Electric. Talking about its specifications it provides a range of f 80 km and its top speed is 45 km per hour. Along with AE-75 Hero has also showcased a low-speed electric scooter, AE-8 which offers a range of 80 km and a top speed of 25 km per hour.

The Sahara India is also planning to launch two new electric motorcycles -Whiz ES and Whiz SE in the coming years apart from this partnership. At present, Sahara EVOLS is manufacturers two electric scooters- Classic and JMT 1000, and also an electric three-wheeler named Veera.

TataComp Systems partnered with Prestolite Electric Beijing

Earlier, India’s leading auto-component conglomerate, TataComp Systems has partnered with Prestolite Electric Beijing Ltd to design, engineer, manufacture and supply powertrain solutions for Indian electric vehicles market.

The joint venture will be able to access to technologies for various powertrain products such as motors, controllers and as well as integrated drivetrain (integrated motor, inverter and transmission).

Toyota partnered with Panasonic 

Here is another joint ventureToyota partners Panasonic to form a joint venture specialising in automotive prismatic batteries for electric vehicles.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation partnered with Kinetic Green Energy 

The oil marketing giant, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has partnered with electric vehicles manufacturer Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd and IIT Madras for technology support. BPCL has brought an on-stream supply of swappable lithium-ion batteries at its retail outlets in Kochi and Lucknow in the first phase for electric three-wheelers.
