EV functions on an electric motor rather than internal combustion engine (ICE) like any other vehicles.
Electric Motor runs using the power stored in the batteries. EVs are popularly known for their eco-friendly, quiet and speed features. The major automobile Indian Electric Vehicles industries such as Tata Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra are the top leading companies in India.

With the unique features and facilities of EV, Government pushing the adoption of EVs. The major automobile Indian industries such as Tata Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra are the leading at the top.

Both the companies have tried hard to get more contracts but Tata Motors has bagged the contract to supply 5,050 electric cars.

Mahindra and Mahindra

Mahindra and Mahindra will supply 4,800 units of the battery-powered variant of the Verito sedan to EESL (Energy Efficiency Services) in addition to 150 units already supplied. Even though Tata Motors got a big contract it will draw a low revenue compared to M&M.

“We can deliver 500 units per month of the car and will complete the process by next year,” said Pawan Goenka, Managing Director at M&M while speaking in a media event regarding money control.

Price (order) Comparison between Tata Motors and mahindra & Mahindra

Each e-Verito costs Rs 13.5 lakh includes annual maintenance, the total value of the 4,950 EESL order for M&M is Rs 668 crore that will be the highest value than the order value of Tata Motors.

The Tata Motors’ Tigor sedan has been priced at Rs 11.2 lakh includes annual, total value will become 5,050 e-Tigors is Rs 566 crore.

Top executive of Tata Motors said, “We can launch the (electric) Tiago and Tigor tomorrow but where will the buyer charge his vehicle. There should not be a situation where the car owner is stuck in the middle of a jam with a depleting energy in the batteries.”

Therefore Mahindra and Mahindra grabed the highest value order than the Tata Motors.
