Hero Photon price is wrong. I’m informed by Metro Eco motors in Chennai that it is 1.4 lakhs – higher than Ather!
Also, Hero is not serious about their electric business since they have not looped in their regular bike centres for sales and service. The staff are not properly trained and cannot answer basic questions like ground clearance. They are simply trying to sell using the brand name.
Odd thing is, Hero has invested in Ather but both the product & service offered by Hero are inferior to Ather! The cost is higher, product is less refined, after sales service is not present, value-additions are not present – but Hero is priced higher.
Hero is basically NOT interested in EV but pretends to be and wishes to trick customers into imagining a brand name will automatically mean the product is good (like Royal Enfield newer bikes).
