In India, most of the two-wheelers in the no license and registration category aren’t so good in terms of looks. The existing low-power e-bikes are similar to scooters which are not so attractive and a small group of people prefer to ride them. Now, young e-bike company Atumobile is focussing to capture the attention of this category of riders. After riding the e-bike we present you the Atumobile Atum 1.0 review.
About Atumobile Atum 1.0
Atumobile Atum 1.0 a short-distance vehicle designed for long-term usage. With a lithium-ion battery, minimal design the e-bike is suitable for strength and speed. Atum 1.0 is beneficial for last-mile transportation and quick A to B travel.
Technical overview
Atumobile has a 250 Watt hub motor which is legal to ride without a license in India and most parts of the world. The hub motor is 48V which is equivalent to an electric scooter and powerful than an electric bicycle. The bike has a 14-liter storage space which appears as a fuel tank in IC motorcycles. Atumobile comes with a detachable battery that can be charged at home and also in a charging space with vehicle charging input.
The e-bike offers a range of 100km which requires a charging time of 3-4 hours. Even though the top speed of the vehicle is 25 kmph as per the manufacturer’s claim, the e-bike offers a little extra top speed.
After ride review
Atumobile has a combined seat for both pillion and rider. The seat may be comfortable for an average adult and a teenager but it’s not comfortable for two adults like a motorcycle. The storage space has a 14-liter volume which can store objects like mobile phones, sippers, beverages, etc.
The e-bike has a high-carbon steel tubular frame and the non-metal part of the E-bike is mostly fiber plastic. The detachable battery pack is located at the centre of a vehicle which is beneficial for the centre of gravity. The e-bike suspension is located over the front wheel. The vehicle is close to motorcycle appearance with its digital info, headlamp, tail lamp, turn indicators, and fat tires.
The price of the vehicle is 50,000 INR with a 1-year warranty for the motor and a 2-year warranty for the battery pack.
