India’s first electric tractor launched Sonalika Electric Tiger
A Hoshiarpur, Punjab based leading tractor manufacturer and supplier in India Sonalika tractors have launched their first electric tractor in the Indian market. Let us look into India’s first electric tractor details.
India’s first electric tractor
The company has named its tractor as ‘Sonalika Tiger Electric’ and is a powerful electric tractor with an 11 kW induction motor. This tractor can run continuously run for 8 hours with 210 trolley load.
This electric tractor comes under 35 horsepower. While we look for its specifications, it is equipped with a 25.5 kW lithium-ion battery and is powered with an 11 kW induction motor. It provides a top speed of 24.93 kmph, as it is a low-speed vehicle it doesn’t require any license or registrations.
Sonalika tractor can be charged using a home socket and can be charged in 10 hours. With the help of a fast charger, it can be charged in 4 hours. Finally, the price of this electric tractor is 5.99 lakh (Ex-showroom) rupees and it is available for pre-booking.
It comes with a battery capacity of 250/270/350. Its motor capacity max peak power is 10.5/21.3. Its PTO rpm is 540/750 and it has OIB brakes. It has hydraulic control 2 lever PCDC type. It has a wheelbase of 1420 and total tractor weight is 820 kgs.
