Metro Cab is Londons first zero-emission electric taxi which offers smart, sustainable urban mobility. Frazer-Nash technology is used in this electric taxi design to achieve an efficiency of over 96%. The advanced battery management system keeps the cells to work in optimum condition. It comes with Fully self-charging feature while in normal operation.
It was launched in November 2014. In partnership with some of Cab companies in London metro cab tested its cabs on a day-to-day basis. They have tested the cabs in different routes, different operational requirements and covered different parts of London.
Almost 25 months metro cab spent on data and feedback for their final launch. 48kmph is the operational speed for the trail run journeys. Metrocab covers a distance of 192,000 km.
