The Directorate of Urban Transport under the Government of Uttar Pradesh has invited tenders for the installation of 25 EV charging stations for electric buses at Mahesara in Gorakhpur, UP. So let us the details of Uttar Pradesh invites tenders.
The last date for the submission of the bids is February 3, 2020, whereas the technical bid opening date is February 5, 2020.

The bidders interested in this tender must pay ₹675,000 as of the earnest money deposit (EMD. The estimated cost of the project is ₹67.5 million.
The bidder is allowed if the bidder’s annual financial turnover during three years must be equal to at least 30% of the cost work put to bid. Or the turnover should be at least 50% of the cost of the work.
during the last five years, the bidders must have not incurred loss in more than two years.
The bidders should have own or have access to equipment and machines such as water tankers, JCB, and a generator set of 25 kVA capacity.
The joint ventures are allowed only if they have successfully completed similar work in the last seven years.
Recently, the Department of Heavy Industries (DHI) approved 2,636 electric vehicle charging stations in 62 cities across 24 states and union territories under the second phase of the FAME India scheme.

There are 2,636 charging stations, out of which 1,633 will be fast-charging stations whereas remaining 1,003 slow charging stations. About 14,000 chargers will be installed across the cities.
For Uttar Pradesh, the DHI has approved 207 charging stations.
