In an exclusive limited-production launch on Monday, Ultraviolette Automotive, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance all-electric two-wheelers, unveiled the Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition with aerospace-grade materials.

In honor of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, and as a tribute to the remarkable space travel of India, the special edition electric motorcycle has been priced at 5.60 lakhs (old showroom). In introducing its latest model, the startup EV commemorates India’s space exploration.

Ultraviolette Automotive says the F77 Space Edition is inspired by India’s advancements in space technology and research. The company says the bike features a range of aerospace-grade materials throughout the body. As a result, the price of this all-electric motorcycle is significantly higher than that of the standard model, which starts at Rs 3.80 lakh (former showroom). The company also announced that pre-orders for the F77 Space Edition will begin on the evening of August 22, through its official website. Production of this variant will be limited to an exclusive run of just 10 pieces.

The new special electric motorcycle version is designed in accordance with the advanced electronic equipment and technology found in modern aircraft. This bike features custom-machined aerospace-grade aluminum parts for added durability. Plus, it has an aerospace-grade finish for the exterior finish.

The motorcycle offers a range of 307 km on a single charge. The high-performance engine produces a maximum power of 39.94 hp and an impressive maximum torque of 100 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reaching a top speed maximum of 152 km/h.

Ultraviolette Automotive co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam said the company aims to constantly push the boundaries of science and technology with its special editions, such as the Ultraviolet F77 Space Edition. Creating something new is the best way to accomplish this.
