The price cut on GST is reducing the electric vehicles price. Yesterday we heard about the price cut for Ather and Avera Retrosa. Now Tata Motors has made an announcement for its all-electric car Tata Tigor, the price has been reduced by Rs 80,000 as there is a cut in GST for electric vehicles.

The Tigor EV is a 5 seater, available in three variants such as XE, XM and XT which are priced between Rs 11.58 lakh and Rs 11.92 lakh.

The price of the Tata Tigor EV (ex-showroom), without FAME II subsidies old price, is Rs 12.35-12.71 lakh and the new price is Rs 11.58-11.92 lakh. With FAME II subsidies the old price is Rs 10.99-11.09 lakh and the new price is Rs 9.96-10.30 lakh.

The Tata Tigor is only available for public transport, government officials and other commercials.

Tigor EV was the first electric car launch buy Tata Motors in 2018 in Auto Expo. If you are planning to buy for your fleet or commercial purposes, it is the best option you can choose from.

Here are the specifications of the Tata Tigor EV

It has fully-automatic air condition, Dual front Airbags, etc, it has a Motor of 72 V 3-Phase AC Induction Motor, it gives a max speed of 80km/h, Acceleration  (0-60 km/h) 12 secs, the battery pack is of 16.2 kWh which gives a max torque of 200N/m and takes 6 hrs to charge an electric vehicle and the range it provides is 142 km in a single charge.
