Mercedes-Benz Korea launched EQC EV, the EQC 400 4MATIC, as the first fully electric vehicle of its EV brand, EQ on Monday.

The new EQC was introduced in September last year, and unveiled in Korea at the Seoul Motor Show in March this year. An ultra-modern design is blended with innovative technology, the latest in digitization and connectivity as well as a powerful and efficient purely electric powertrain.
Features of new EQC 400 4MATIC
The new EQC EV comes with fresh exterior and interior designs which are different from existing Mercedes-Benz vehicles. With muscular body, the car sports a revolutionary and progressive look, highlighted by a large black-panel surface which encloses the headlamps and grille. The EQC also features unique colors that are exclusive to the EQ brand.
Technical Specifications and Features
It is powered by an 80 KWH Lithium-ion battery developed by Deutsche ACCUMOTIVE. The battery can propel the vehicle for more than 309 kms on a single charge. It takes 40 minutes to be charged up to 80 percent with 110 kw quick charger.

For improved performance, efficiency and reduced power consumption, the EQC has equipped with two motors which are configured differently. The front motor is made for the maximum efficiency in the low to medium load range, while the rear motor enhances its performance and hence the dynamism. The two motors combinedly generate 408 horsepower and up to 78 kilogram-meter torque, which can propel the EQC from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.1 seconds.
The EQC comes with the latest driving assistance technologies, which includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC. It enables the vehicle to maintain a safe following distance with the vehicle moving in front of it. And it supports automatically in controlling the speed based on the speed of moving vehicles in front it, even in a slow-moving traffic situation.
