In the 46th edition of the Japanese 2019 Tokyo Motor Show on October 23, Yamaha will exhibit 2 Electric Scooters and two other mystery models.

The E01 electric scooter will come under the 125-cc segment with the latest technology. The features of E01 electric scooter include telescopic front forks, disc brakes on either end, ABS, contrast fluorescent colored highlights, sleek body panels, long single-piece seat, tall windshield, mono-shock rear and so on. The production version of the EB01 electric scooter will also be made available in global markets in the near future.

 

Whereas, the Yamaha E02 electric scooter will come under slightly lower segment made for daily commutes for short distances. Its features include a removable battery pack and have an electric motor mounted on the hub, front disc brake, telescopic front forks, LED headlamp and so on.

Another highlight motorcycle, Yamaha will be going to present is the 2020 version of Yamaha YZF-R1. It is powered by Euro 5 compliance inline four-cylinder 998 cc engine specially made for performance which can produce 197 PS. The YZF-R1 is packed with electronic aids such as Accelerator Position Sensor with Grip (APSG), ride-by-wire system and Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T). It has been upgraded for better throttle response as well as aero efficiency. It is lighter than its predecessor.

Yamaha will display motorcycles for all the desirable classes. The Tenere 700, adventure tourer consists of 698 cc inline engine and the Niken GT three-wheeler along with the MT-09 will be at the show.

And the YPJ-YZ mountain bike, TY-E electric motorcycle and a couple of mystery models are set to grace the grand motoring event.
