Pininfarina, luxury car maker from a Mahindra group company unveiled its luxury and powerful all-electric hypercar at Geneva Motor Show.
Mahindra-All-Electric Car Pininfarina Battista
Mahindra &Mahindra company’s first car in its luxury electric vehicle portfolio is Battista. Battista name has been kept as the founder of the Carrozzeria Pininfarina coachbuilding company, he started in 1930. It is designed and developed in Pininfarina SpA (Italian car design firm) Turin, Italy.
Electric Car Pininfarina Battista Specifications
Battista will launch next year in 2020. It has the capacity to accelerate to 62 mph in less than two seconds, faster than any Formula 1 car. It can also go till 250 mph. It will have a range of 450-kilometer.
The top speed is more than 217 mph (350 km/h). When using a large 120kWh battery and a motor for each wheel, produces total 1,900 horsepower. Power and torque equate to 1,900 bhp and 2,300 Nm.
Pininfarina CEO Michael Perschke Says
Pininfarina CEO Michael Perschke told, “This is the most authentic and exciting automotive story imaginable. The Battista is the hypercar of the future, inspired by a legendary past.”
“We aim for the Battista to be a future classic and automotive icon, writing its own page in automotive history books,” Perschke said.
Limited 150 Battista Electric Cars Will Be Produced
The company will produce only limited, 150 Battista electric cars in Italy and send them equally to North America, Europe, and Middle East Asia regions.

The car’s appearance looks stunning with its doors opening like a butterfly and the body structure of car expressively designed with the thin red aluminum lines running at sides of the car with brake calipers and the tail lights. The trendy combination of contrast colors black and white grabs the attention towards it.
