ROHM Semiconductor Chips to Indian EVs
ROHM Semiconductor is a Japanese electronic parts manufacturer based in Kyoto, Japan. On Monday they announced it will be presenting a semiconductor chip to Indian EVs for optimization of power and energy management in the automotive applications.

Sunra to set up EV factory in India
Sunra is one of the leading electric vehicles companies in China, its eyes are looking at the Indian market to grow as worlds biggest market for electric bikes.PM Narendra Modi electric vehicles schemes in India attracted Sunra to take advantage of tax exemptions.
Sunra is planning to set up electric vehicles manufacturing unit in India soon. They already exporting batteries to India and partnership with 16 small companies in Delhi, 80% electric bikes market share in India is their target.
1 lakh EV sales Target
Electric vehicles sales growth increased after the announcement of Fame II scheme, however,
the scheme creating confusion over the EV manufacturers and entrepreneurs as there is no confirmation about it. Sources stating that FAME II scheme will be approved by last week of September.
- EV sales in 2018 are 74,000 but the expected sales are 1 lakh sales, the number decreased due to FAME II confusion.
- EV sales in 2016-17 are stood at 56,000 units.
