Simple One platform will target first-time electric scooter buyers

The Simple Dot One Electric scooter has been officially launched by Simple Energy, a Bangalore-based company with an introductory price of Rs. 99,999. Designed as a sub-variant within the company’s growing line of electric two-wheelers, following the launch of the Simple One, this scooter is positioned as a sub-variant within its growing line of electric two-wheelers. As Simple Energy’s second electric vehicle, the Dot One is the company’s second offering.

According to the manufacturer, the scooter will achieve a certified range of 151 kilometers, thus making it one of the longest-range electric two-wheelers in its class. Pre-booked Simple One customers from Bangalore can take advantage of the introductory price of 99, 999. While supplies last, this limited offer is available only while supplies last. New customers will be able to purchase the product at a slightly higher price in January 2024. Electric mobility enthusiasts are invited to participate in the future of mobility by making reservations online.

Mr. Suhas Rajkumar, founder and CEO of Simple Energy, commented at the launch that this marks an important milestone in the history of the company as they unveil the Simple Dot One. Dot One is a symbol of the company’s commitment to delivering an electric mobility experience that is both high-quality and affordable, seamlessly blending elegant design with cutting-edge features. Moreover, he noted that the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility remains unwavering, and they believe that Simple Dot One, with its disruptive capabilities, will establish itself in the market as well as capture the attention of consumers.

Final remarks

Once again, Simple Energy makes headlines with the Simple Dot One electric scooter. The Simple One is currently facing challenges meeting its current commitments, and there’s speculation whether this move is aimed at diverting attention. The Simple One electric scooter launched in 2021 has been delayed in delivery, causing dissatisfaction among customers.  It’s still a hope that Simple Energy can improve its performance, especially when it comes to delivery timelines. If the Dot One lives up to its promises or if it’s just a distraction from its predecessor’s problems, then it’ll be a true test. In the end, time will determine whether the company meets customer expectations and improves its offerings.
