In 2024, Maruti Suzuki will introduce some exciting models

The New-Gen Swift to the Maruti eVX electric SUV will be here in 2024

One of the most popular car manufacturers in India, Maruti Suzuki, introduced some exciting cars in 2023. Carmaker has launched the Fronx crossover based on the Baleno, the Jimny SUV based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, and the Invicto premium MPV based on the Toyota Innova Hycross. As the Indian utility vehicle market has shown rapid growth over the past few years, the car manufacturer has been attempting to capture a substantial share of the market. Continuing this momentum with new products is also expected from Maruti Suzuki in 2024.

An all-electric SUV concept was unveiled by the car manufacturer at the Auto Expo 2023 in February of this year. A revised version of the concept was unveiled later this year at the Japan Mobility Show. In 2024, the eVX will be available in its production version. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to launch a new generation Swift in 2024, which debuted at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show a few months ago.

Here’s what Maruti Suzuki says will be coming out in India in 2024:

Maruti Suzuki New-Gen Swift

The new generation Swift hatchback is expected to be launched in India by Maruti Suzuki in 2024, having been unveiled at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show a few months ago. India is currently testing the device, which has already been launched in Japan. A host of new features and improvements are included in the fourth-generation Swift, including subtle yet significant design updates. With 360-degree cameras and a number of ADAS features, including adaptive high beams, driver monitoring, and collision mitigation braking, this model enhances safety in many ways. Suzuki has upgraded its 1.2-litre K-series engine to a Z-series engine for the hatchback. While details of the new Swift have not yet been revealed, the automaker promises higher fuel efficiency and more torque.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Even though Maruti Suzuki is the country’s biggest car manufacturer, it hasn’t penetrated a segment that’s growing rapidly and where its competitors have already launched their electric vehicles. In February, the automaker showed off an all-electric SUV concept at the Auto Expo 2023. This year, the eVX was once again showcased at the Japan Mobility Show, presenting a variety of updates. Maruti Suzuki’s first electric vehicle, the eVX, is expected to debut in India next year. An electric car powered by a 60 kWh battery pack will be able to travel 550 kilometres on a single charge thanks to a newly developed platform created specifically for electric cars. Its dimensions are 4,300mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,600mm tall, which is the same size as most compact SUVs. As soon as it is released, the Mahindra XUV400 and Tata Nexon EV will compete with the Maruti Suzuki eVX.

Maruti Dzire

This vehicle is based on the Swift hatchback and is the automaker’s compact sedan. Due to the high demand in the taxi segment, the Dzire has managed to maintain a certain retail figure despite the decline of sales of sedans and compact sedans. In addition, the Dzire provides consumers who are interested in buying a car in this segment with the opportunity to buy an affordable sedan. When the new generation Swift hatchback is launched in India, the Dzire is expected to receive an update. There is a possibility that it will feature a revised design and several new features in addition to a new engine as well.

As a final note,

Once these products are officially released to the market, they will provide incredible performance. Once again, Maruti Suzuki will have a strong position in the hearts of its customers and the company will continue to march forward on the successful path in the EV field. Get ready to drive one of these upcoming e-cars to make your journey more exciting.
