An Indian electric vehicles (EVs) startup, Robust Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2016 at Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The group is consists of 4 young and creative mechanical engineers, who want to revolutionize the automobile industry with their creative innovative electric motorcycle. Since the start-up establishment, they are working towards the research and development of sustainable EV tech Infrastructure with building two successful prototypes of electric motorcycles on the way.
The Robust Vehicle is an Extraordinary tech-focused start-up with the team Ajay Panwar, Sanjay Soni, Gulam Mohiyuddin designs and manufactures the premium range performance electric vehicles.
The team is really passionate about Electric Vehicles and continuously working on a lot of projects. During the final year of their study in 2015, they decided to make an electric motorcycle and were succeeded.
Their passion for electric vehicles converted into a vision to make extraordinary electric vehicles for the world and succeded making another prototype after 2 years of research and development. They made MarK 3 electric motorcycle prototype.
The start-up has not released any technical specifications of the e-bike but shared the estimated specifications are as follows:
The top speed of the vehicle is estimated up to 200km/h for the lower model and up to 300 km/h for the limited edition model. It will have a range above 300 km on a single charge. Charge of an electric motorcycle can be done in just 30 minutes up to 80% using DC fast charging. If using the normal AC charger it takes 3 hours to charge fully. It can take longer time to charge if there is a low power supply.
Features of the electric motorcycle
It can be ridden in more than 3 different riding modes such as eco mode, Sport mode, Highway mode, Off-Road mode, Track mode, Rain Mode.
It has some unique features you get to see in this bike that is not seen in any bike of India till now. Apart from the basic features such as GPS, maps, navigation, it has some unique features such as Rider Statistics, Heated grips, Automapping, Track-focused navigation, Dynamic traction control, Collison alert, cruise control, Assisted Wheelie Control,
About Build quality
The e-bike has naked racing design and street racing theme motorcycle made with different composites like carbon fiber, Kevlar, titanium alloys, carbon alloys, etc. All kinds of exotic automotive materials which have extraordinary strength and premium feel.
They are using 3D manufacturing for parts and metallic structures for chassis and other mechanical parts.
Every part of the product will be designed personally by Robust in house by its own team for the quality and image of the product.
Electric Motorcycle launch in Indian Market
Robust vehicles are planning to launch their products in the market by 2020 at own private launch event Robust Expo and after that at Auto Expo 2020 for overall exposure. The company is also planning to launch it at Geneva and EICMA vehicle expo for the global launch next year. Robust is also planning to enter international racing events for electric motorcycles.
Robust is planning to build a brand image first so that the first product will be a superbike. The startup wants to produce only limited edition units. After that, they will move on to low budget and other segments of automobiles.
With the motto to introduce world with Robust sustainable electric vehicles technology which will revolutionize the EV industry, the team is heading towards making the powerful electric vehicles.
