Hyundai Motor India announced the enhancement of special charging services for Kona Electric SUV. It is providing a 7.2 KW charger to all the customers along with the car. Portable Chargers are also available at Delhi and Bangalore.

Enhancement of Special Charging Services for Kona Electric

India’s first all-electric SUV, the Hyundai Kona has launched earlier this year as a premium vehicle. It is also claimed as India’s First Long-Range Electric SUV. Hyundai Motor India has now announced that it is providing Special Charging Services for the customers of Kona Electric SUV with multiple EV Charging options, adding at all the touchpoints.

As a part of this, Hyundai will provide AC 7.2KW chargers at all their 15 Electric Vehicle Dealerships in 11 cities. Besides these, Hyundai is providing a 7.2 KW charger to all customers along with the car to provide fast charging in 6 to 8 hours.

Also, the Industry-first ‘Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V)’ charging facility has been designed to provide Customers anywhere anytime charging at Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Bengaluru provided by Allianz Worldwide Partners. Apart from all these, Portable Chargers are also made available at Delhi and Bengaluru.

Hyundai Motor India has received 302 bookings since the launch of Kona SUV in July 2019. Out of which, 231 units have already been delivered to the customers. The company expects to find more than 46,000 customers for the Kona electric SUV this year globally, which in India, with a claimed ARAI-rated range of 425 kilometers on a single full charge. The company also promises more than 2,000 recharge cycles for its vehicle’s batteries and offers an 8-year warranty for the same.
