Tamil Nadu based electric vehicle start-up company eMotion Motors planning to launch their first batch of electric vehicles in October 2019. Currently, they are testing their surge electric motorcycle for on road conditions in India. One of the two-wheeler startup companies in India, Ather Energy, already doing a decent business with its electric scooters. Now, eMotion Motors going to test its luck in the next year.

Currently, eMotion Motors testing their electric motorcycle for Indian Road conditions as well as building their marketing strategy. Talking about FAME II subsidies, Mr. Pranav Singanapalli, the CEO of eMotion motors said that their company is not taking seriously about FAME II contributions for electric vehicles mobility, because they want to launch their electric motorcycle with the initial funding they having. But if the government can provide subsidies they will welcome them.

Surge is India’s first geared electric motorcycle introduced on June 5th, 2018. A group of young engineers from all around India gave birth to Surge electric motorcycle in Tamil Nadu. It is the first electric motorcycle in India with Over 40 New Innovative Features.
