1)Tirupati becomes World’s first Temple to use Electric Cars
Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam is ready to achieve another milestone by using electric cars in a Temple for the first time in the world. As a part of EESL policy of Andhra Pradesh, 350 electric cars to be run across the state.A.P state government to allocate 50 electric cars to Tirumala temple.
The tenders for this project has already made. The cost to run electric cars in Tirumala will be cheaper, only 2 rupees per kilometer. Sufficient training will be given to drivers of Tirumala to drive the electric vehicles.
2) Electric Bus Trial Run in Kerala
For the first time in Kerala, an electric bus trial run will appear in the state on June 18. It will be an 8-day electric vehicles trail run in Kerala. The trial run will starts in Thiruvananthapuram and ends in Ernakulam.
This trail run in Kerala will help to know the favorable and odd situations of electric vehicles. Trail run for air-conditioned electric buses with a seating capacity of 40 will be done.
The KSRTC of Kerala plans to produce 150 electric buses. These buses will cover cities in Telangana and Banglore.
3)KIA Automakers in India
Happy days to electric India, South Korean automaker Kia plans to launch electric and hybrid vehicles in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Kia is planning to launch its first electric car by 2021 in India.
Kia Motors has invested a whopping amount of 1.1billion in India for their electric vehicles manufacturing business.
