CADD Centre to launch electric vehicles

Asia’s largest network of engineering design-training institutes, CAAD Centre has launched courses in Electric Vehicle technology. The courses include covering design, manufacturing, repair, maintenance and setting up charging infrastructure. The course covers the complete spectrum of the EV industry.

CADD Centre starting with 12 courses

CADD Centre has commenced with 12 courses which includes Diploma in EV Battery Technology & Design, Diploma in Automotive Embedded Program, Diploma in EV Powertrain Design & Simulation, Diploma in EV Manufacturing, Diploma in EV Charging Infrastructure & Design, Diploma in EV Powertrain Design & Simulation, Diploma in EV Maintenance and Service, and Diploma in EV Designing & Aesthetics.

This courses can be enrolled by the students of all engineering, technology and science streams. As electric vehicles are such type of technology in which there will be a demand for a wide range of skills from electronics to computer science to chemistry.

As electric vehicles are the need of the hour and launch of these EV courses will help to achieve an eco-friendly mobility solution. Speaking about this Mr R. Parthasarathy, Chairman, CADD Centre, said “World over the need for skills in sustainable energy is on the rise. Training that promotes an engineering approach to building sustainable energy systems like Electric Vehicle technology is the need of the hour.

The launch of our EV courses is in response to this need. We train engineering and non-engineering students in futuristic EV technologies and equip them to add value to the research, design, analysis, and manufacturing of EV and hybrid vehicles.”

The courses are designed on the basis of the assessment of the current and the future needs of the job and the duration of these diploma courses are from 60 hours to 120 hours.
