The Benling has a production capacity of 6-12 lakh unit per annum in China. The company’s facility is located in Manesar, India. It started in India last year in December and the sales of the electric two-wheeler commenced in May 2019.
At present, the company provides four electric scooters-Kriti, Falcon, Icon, and Aura. The Prices of Benling scooters start at Rs 40,000.
It has made a sales of 800 units of electric scooters in India through the dealerships in Bangalore, Chennai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

Talking about the new electric motorcycle by the company, it will be specifically made for the Indian market. The company plans to provide a range of 140 km on a single charge and a top speed will be 80-90%. This model is 125 cc bikes with an ICE. The electric motorcycle price can be expected to Rs 80,000 (on-road).

Before the launch of the electric motorcycle, the company is planning to set up three manufacturing plants so that it can increase its production capacity in India. It will be working on localizing the parts of the electric vehicles to bring down the prices. Currently, it imports the electric motors and lithium-ion battery packs from its hometown China.
It also plans to make a partnership with bike rental companies to provide the last mile connectivity. As the price reduction of electric vehicles taking place after the GST council has announced the GST rate cuts. The company has also revised its prices of their products.
