Benling Aura has launched in Delhi at the EV Expo. Aura is the first high-speed scooter from Benling India. The company said that Aura will be available for sale in the market in the first quarter of 2020. The Aura can travel up to 120KM on a single charge and offers a top speed of 60kmph.

Benling India Energy and Technology Pvt., the Indian arm of the Chinese electric two-wheeler manufacturer. Ltd. has launched a new electric scooter Aura in India. The electric scooter Aura was launched at the EV Expo in Delhi. With this scooter, Benling India has entered the high-speed segment of India’s electric vehicle market.

Previously, the company has introduced three low-speed models – Kriti, Icon and Falcon in the Indian market. The company said that Aura has been built keeping in mind the needs of Indian customers.

Special features of Benling Aura

The Benling Aura comes with a remote keyless system, the USB charging system, an anti-theft alarm and additional rear-wheel integrated locking system, telescopic suspension at front and shock absorbers at the back for sharp braking.

Another noteworthy feature in Benling Aura is the Breakdown Smart Assistance System (BSAS). The company claims that, with this technology the scooter can restart and it keeps running despite any flaws even after the breakdown.

Motor and battery

The Benling Aura is powered by 2500 BLDC electric motors and 72V / 40Ah detachable lithium-ion batteries. Benling Aura can travel up to 120KM on a single charge. The scooter takes 4 hours for full charge. It provides a maximum speed of 60 km / h. Benling Aura will be available for sale in the market in the first quarter of 2020 and the expected price will be around Rs 1 Lakh.
