The launch and delivery dates for Simple Energy’s upcoming electric scooters have been revised.
After securing 165 crores of funding, Simple ONE electric scooters appear to have converted electric scooters for commercial use. This story is not without its twists and turns, however. For example, in order to increase sales, the company has raised the scooter’s price and plans to launch it by April 2023 in order to increase sales.
There was a time when the scooter cost around 1.09 lakhs (in the showroom). There is, however, a possibility that prices will rise following the impending launch of the vehicle.
Deliveries will begin in Bangalore in stages and expand to other cities in the coming months. The Simple ONE electric scooter is manufactured at the new Simple Vision 1.0 factory in Tamil Nadu. It has been reported that customers who have previously ordered electric scooters are eagerly awaiting the delivery of their vehicles. The company has revised its vehicle and component policies to ensure that production models are error-free despite supply chain disruptions. The delivery schedule had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
A standard Simple ONE electric scooter costs Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom), and a removable battery version costs Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). As soon as the product is commercially launched, the price will drop slightly. More details will be announced at the launch event, but it is expected to rise.
When it comes to the features there are multiple driving modes, LED headlights, a 7-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with 4G connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity for music and calls, and an integrated navigation system on the scooter. A variety of colors are available for this product, including Azure Blue, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Namma Red.
