Ola Electric jumps to the next level every time to give customers more

Ola Electric has set some milestones in its journey. And the results that touched the sky were built with customers at unicorn speed.

Ola Electric announced Thursday that it is taking a big step towards that mission with the launch of five electric motorcycles. Ola Electric on Thursday teased five new electric motorcycles powered by the SoftBank-backed company, revealing the range after the electric scooter goes on sale.

The new products are called Cafe Racer, Adventure Tourer, Scrambler, and Naked Motorcycle. They plan to release the bike next year. As a report, we can expect them to include premium and mass-market versions.

Ola Electric has previously said it plans to launch an electric sports car in 2024. As a result, the company will compete with Indian giant Tata Group, Mahindra & Mahindra, and other global industry giants.

Ola has expanded its scooter range with the Ola S1 portfolio and the Ola S1 Air. A new 2 kWh battery pack variant has been added to the Ola S1 portfolio. The Ola S1 Air has been presented in three new variants with 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery packs respectively.

Bhavish Aggarwal, founder, and CEO of Ola said in the premium rum scooter segment, India is already one of the world’s largest EV markets. He added that the Ola community of nearly 200,000 enthusiastic customers is truly leading the EV revolution in India. This puts them on a mission to dominate, and their goal of making all two-wheelers in India electric by the end of 2025 is profitable.

Ola said the success of the S1 Pro and S1 has cemented the company’s market leadership. The company said that in January it surpassed 25,000 units, the highest monthly performance.

With a 2kWh battery and an 8.5kW motor, Ola’s new S1 variant offers better acceleration and performance. The scooter is priced at Rs 99,999 and has an IDC range (Indian driving conditions) of 91 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. Available in a color palette of 11 colors.

Pricing for the Ola S1 Air starts at Rs 84,999 for the entry-level (2kWh), Rs 99,999 for the mid-range (3kWh), and Rs 109,999 for the top-end (4kWh). Customers who book the 2.5kWh variant of S1 Air during Diwali will be upgraded to the 3kWh variant at no additional charge.

Already in his premium scooter segment, Bhavish added that more than 90% of the vehicles sold are his EVs, up from just 30% a year ago. And Ora is accelerating her efforts. The company has shipped MoveOS3 to all customers. This is the third major release of it’s software in just over a year.

Last week, Ola launched its annual service subscription, OLA CARE, to help their customers. This will make owning an Ola a breeze for customers. Ola has also opened 200 Experience Centers across the country, allowing customers to discover and purchase Ola products and vehicle services all in one place with them. Bhavish says they plans to have 500 experience centers open by March to get as close to customers as possible. And he thanked the customers who made Ola the largest electric vehicles company in India.
