e-Ashwa Automotive launches 12 models of electric scooters & motorcycles 

e-Ashwa Automotive Private Limited an electric vehicle company has launched 12 models of electric scooters and motorcycles which is operated by lithium-ion batteries. The company has launched all the models under its own brand e-Ashwa brand it comes with a price ranging between Rs 58,000-Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new models are made for both B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to consumer) markets. According to the company, it has launched 12 models of electric scooters and 8 models of electric three-wheelers including rickshaws, e-autos and other electric three-wheelers.

“Electric two-wheelers market is growing at a much higher pace than any other electric vehicles in the country and we aim to tap this opportunity by launching a wide range of e-scooters and e-bikes to suit the needs of various customers,” Vikas Gupta, Founder & CEO of e-Ashwa Automotive said.

The new low-speed two-wheelers can provide a top speed of up to 25 km/h with a range of 70-100 km and can be fully charged within 3-4 hours if it is a lithium battery and if it is a lead battery it will take 6-8 hours. The company’s models are available across its 670 retail network and franchisees pan-India.

EeVe India

EeVe India an Orissa-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer had also launched its flagship high-speed electric scooter called EeVe Soul with a price tag of Rs 1.4 lakh.

While we look for the technical terms of the Soul electric scooter, it offers a top speed of 40 km/h and is powered by a 1200W Bosch motor and two lithium-ion ferrous phosphates (lfp) of a capacity of 2.2 kWh each. The Its batteries can be removed and swapped and can be charged with regular sockets as well. It takes around 3-4 hours to charge it fully. On a full charge, the EeVe scooter can be provided up to 120 km. The company is offering 3 years of warranty on the Soul electric scooter.
