Hero Splendor EV Conversion Kit launched at Rs 35k by GoGoA1

GoGoA1 an OEM/ODM and electric & solar-powered vehicles and its components supplier in India has launched the most affordable Hero Splendor, one of the best selling bikes and most favourite bike in India conversion kit for Rs 35,000. If you are planning to buy a Hero Splendor now you will also have the option of an electric vehicle. This EV conversion kit is approved by the RTO.

GoGoA1 a Thane based electric vehicles startup has launched the Hero Splendor EV conversion kit. It is priced at Rs 35,000 with Rs 6300 GST. Along with this, you will have to pay separately for the battery cost which means overall it costs you Rs 95,000 (not including the cost of the bike ).

This EV conversion kit comes with a 3-year warranty and it can provide a range of up to 151 km on a single charge. At current, in India there is not yet such bikes are manufactured by the big companies but the Thane EV startup has brought an option that is also quite expensive. At present, the GoGoA1 has local installation setups in 36 RTOs across the country. This EV kit can be ordered online on the company’s website and can be installed at the GoGoA1 local installation centre.

Hero Splendor EV tehnical specifications

The EV conversion kit includes a DC to DC converter, key switch with controller box, a new throttle, wiring harness, and new swing arms. The battery pack capacity will be 2.8kWh which powers the 2kW brushless electric motor which can produce 2.4 bhp of power and 63 Nm of torque. It provides a range of 151 km on a single charge and a top speed of 80 kmph.

One of the key features is that it has a battery regeneration technology that recovers 5-20 per cent of the battery with the help of a 65A regenerative controller.
