Tata Power DDL & Sun Mobility partners to set up Li-ion battery-swapping station
The Tata Power Delhi Distribution (DDL) a joint venture of Tata Power and the Delhi government and Sun Mobility a charging infrastructure provider for electric vehicles had announced their partnership to set up lithium-ion battery swapping stations in Delhi NCR.
There are continuous initiatives taken by the central government to promote the growth of lithium-ion battery swapping technology to increases the adoption of electric vehicles in India.

Under the partnership, the first swapping station with two Quick Interchange Stations has been launched in the Azadpur area.

Sun Mobility partners 3PL Zyngo for last-mile delivery in Delhi NCR
Recently the Sun Mobility announced that it has partnered with a 3PL logistics last-mile service provider Zyngo to expand its last-mile delivery segment. As per the partnership, Zyngo’s electric vehicles including e-loaders and e-carriers will use Sun Mobility’s battery swap technology through its EV charging network that is installed at Indian Oil Corporation fuel stations in Delhi NCR.
Sun Mobility’s battery swap technology takes lesser time as much as 120 seconds to charge the vehicles. Zyngo started its operations in January 2020 and provided pollution-free logistics solutions through the last mile deliveries. Since then it has deployed 120 electric delivery vehicles including electric three-wheelers in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad. By the end of 2021, it aims to expand to 500 vehicles in various cities.
