Ather 450X is India’s most advanced and fastest electric scooter from a popular and well-known EV Startup Ather Energy. It is an updated version of Ather 450 and is much powerful and gives a high range and performance than compared with the previous Ather 450.
It is equipped with a 6 kW peak power which gives a range of 85 km. Its top speed is 80 km/h and it can reach 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 secs. It also has a reverse mode option. Ather 450X supports fast charging which can charge 80% in 1 Hour. It is available in Bengaluru, Chennai, NCR, Mumbai, Pune & Hyderabad.
The Ather 450X comes in two variants 450x pro and 450x plus.
The 450x pro version has a top speed of 80 km/h and provides a range of 85 km on a single charge. The motor capacity is 3.3 Kwatt. The battery pack is 2.9 kWh Lithium-ion which is non-detachable. It can be charged in 5 hrs 45 minutes with a home socket and 1.5 km/km fast charging rate with a DC fast charger. It comes with a price tag of 1 lakh 59 thousand rupees.
The 450x plus version gives a top speed of 80 km/h which ranges 70 km on a single charge. The battery pack is 2.7 kWh Lithium-ion and can be charged in 5 hrs 15 minutes with a home socket and 1 km/min fast charging rate with a DC fast charger. The price of 450x plus is 1 lakh 49 thousand rupees.
Bajaj Chetak
It is the first electric scooter from the oldest automobile brand in India Bajaj. It is said to be the best range electric scooter till now. It will be first available in Pune and Bengaluru and later on to other cities.
It is powered with a 4kW electric motor and it gets two different range with its two driving modes such as Eco Mode where you get 95 km and in Sport Mode, you get a range of 85 km. It has a 3 kWh non-renewable non-detachable lithium-ion battery which is IP67-rated and can be charged using a 5-15 amp electrical outlet. It can be charged in 5 hours. The chetak has priced at an ex-showroom price of 1 lakh rupees for a base version and 1.15 lakh rupees for the premium version.
TVS iQube
It is the first electric scooter from the leading two-wheelers manufacturer TVS Motors. It used a LiFePo4 (LFP) battery and is powered by three lithium-ion batteries. It gives a range of 75 km on a single charge and its top speed is 78 km/h. It has a top speed of 78 km/h. Its motor capacity is 3 kwatt and battery pack is 2.25 kWh which is non Detachable which can be charged in 5 hours of time. The on-road Price of Tvs iQube is 1,15,000 rupees.
Benling Aura
A Delhi based electric scooter startup Benling India offering a high-speed electric scooter ‘Aura.’ It has a top speed of 65 km/h and provides a range of 140 km on a single charge. Its motor capacity is 2.5 kwatt and its battery pack is 2.88kWh Lithium-ion which is detachable and can be charged in 4hrs. The on-road Price of Bengling Aura is ₹99,000. The price of this electric scooter is 1 lakh rupees.
ePluto 7G
ePluto 7G is from a Hyderabad based Startup pure EV is the company’s first high-speed electric scooter. It works with a 1.5 kW BLDC motor. The ePluto 7g can run with a top speed of 65 kmph and gives a range of 120 km on a single charge. The lithium-ion batteries are detachable and easy to charge at your comfort. It will charge in 3 hours and its loading capacity is 180 kg. It will cost 4-6 rupees on your electricity bill to charge it fully. The price of this electric scooter is between 90 thousand to 1 lakh rupees.
Okinawa Ridge Plus
It is the best performance electric scooters from Okinawa scooters. It has a top speed of 55 km/h and provides a range of 84 km on a single charge. Dash is a low-speed electric scooter from Hero Electric. It is powered by a 48V 28Ah lithium-ion battery and takes only 4 hours to fully charge. On a full charge, it offers a range of 60km and it gets a top speed of just 25kmph. Its ex-showroom price in India is 62,000 rupees. An interesting thing about this electric scooter is you do not require registration and a license to ride it.
