Co-located with the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, Asia’s largest and most influential renewable energy event, the expos are scheduled from October 4th to 6th, 2023, at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. TBSI offers a valuable crossover with Renewable Energy Sector Stakeholders, extending into the energy storage domain and addressing a key challenge for renewables. The Battery Show India and Renewable Energy India will together foster a dynamic convergence of industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders.

The event will draw over 200 brands, 50 speakers and more than 40,000 visitors, including professionals and enthusiasts from various sectors such as Automotive, Transportation, and Mobility. Some prominent exhibitors participating in the event include Saint Gobain, Rubamin, Log 9 Materials Scientific Pvt Ltd, Erhardt + Leimer (India) Pvt. Ltd., CELGARD, Feinmetall Gmbh, Brueckner Maschinenbau Gmbh, Henkel, Parker Hannifin to name a few. Speaking on the upcoming debut edition of The Battery Show India, Mr Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said, “We are excited to bring The Battery Show to India.  In a market as vibrant and transformative as India, the show will play a pivotal role, coinciding with India’s monumental shift towards clean and sustainable energy solutions.”

TBSI will showcase the most recent advancements in battery technology and promote collaborations that will support the growth of the country’s energy storage sector. The market for battery energy storage systems in India is projected to grow at a CAGR of more than 11.20% over the next five years, reaching USD 5.27 billion. We are eager to continue supporting India in its drive towards clean technology initiatives, looking into a future where renewable energy capacity could be in the region of 500 GW by 2030,” he added.

Alongside the remarkable growth of India’s lithium-ion battery market and renewable energy integration, the stationary energy storage sector is poised to reach around 230 GWh from 2023 to 2027. This promising development takes centre stage at the Renewable Energy India Expo and The Battery Show, where industry leaders work together to meet government-established goals in renewable energy and electric mobility.

The expo will feature a CEO Conclave, a CTO Forum, and a dynamic three-day power-packed conference, and the engaging Global Innovation Theatre will provide an exclusive platform to have Product Launches, Tech talks and Product Presentations. The key speakers are Mr Shantanu Jaiswal, Head of India Research, Bloomberg NEF; Mr Nitin Seth, CEO-Mobility, RIL; Mr Pankaj Sharma, Co-founder, Log9 Materials; Mr Sai Charan Kuppili, Technical Director, Jinko Solar; Mr Naveen Nagpal, Assistant Vice President – Renewables BSES; Dr. S.K.SAROJ, Chairman Federation of Electric Vehicle Association, and many more. They will also throw light on the ‘Barriers in EV Industry and Possible Solutions’.

The Expo will showcase the participation from Battery Pack/Cell Manufacturers, Battery Component Suppliers, Testing and measurement Experts, Energy Storage Innovators, Battery Management System/Power Management System Providers, and Software Developers. This event provides the unique advantage of being the first of its kind in India, offering an opportunity to enter the energy storage and electric vehicle (EV) industry making it an event of exceptional significance in the industry.
