TCS Jaguar Formula E title partner & eBikeGo acquires tech firm for EVs
TCS is Jaguar’s Formula E title partner
Anand Mahindra, Mahindra Group Chairman has welcomed India’s largest IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to the electric racing. TCS has partnered with Tata Group owned Jaguar Land Rover as Jaguar’s Formula E outfit will compete as Jaguar TCS Racing in the upcoming 2022 season. The TCS will be the Jaguar Formula E team’s new title sponsor.
The company released a statement stating that TCS “experience working with premiere players in the automotive value chain” will prove to be a valuable asset.
eBikeGo acquires tech firm Kustard Technologies
eBikeGo India’s electric two-wheeler mobility platform has announced that it has acquired tech firm, Kustard Technologies for $2 million to modernize the EV industry. It plans to build FMS (Fleet Management System) for its clients such as Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket.
The company in a statement said that the acquisition will also help businesses to get ahead of the competition. It will also aid remote diagnostics of EVs to achieve preventative maintenance such as such as monitoring vehicle health, motor, battery and controller among others.
“We are extremely happy to acquire one of the burgeoning tech firms, Kustard Technologies, to help push the EV industry to the next level with cutting-edge technology. Every year, approx. 25 million petrol two-wheelers are sold in India. Previously, less than 0.15 million electric two-wheelers have been sold, accounting for just 0.6 percent of overall two-wheeler sales,”
