We have a rendering image of the Hornbill EV that shows how the car will look like. The Tata Motors head of design, Pratap Bose already said that the HBX concept looks 95% similar to the production version which means the EV variant will not get many changes and it will look almost similar.
We have already seen that the Tata turned it regular Nexon to an electric version and there were no big changes made. The same strategy will apply for the HBX and the EV version too.
The HBX concept will use the ALFA Platform. The technical terms of this electric car has not yet been revealed but the range may be up to 250 km and it will also have the fast charging and regular charging at-home options.
The car will also offer a range of connected features similar to the Nexon. The price of the batteries used in the electric car is expected to come down in the future. Telling about its price is too early but we can wait for the carmaker to announce it.
