The Orxa Mantis competes directly with Ultraviolette F77


 

Orxa Mantis, a new electric motorcycle launched earlier this week in the Indian market, will become the company’s flagship model and a direct competitor to the Ultraviolette F77, which continues to be the most expensive electric motorcycle in the country. In order to make it easier for you to decide which motorcycle is the better value for your money, below is a comparison of the specifications and prices of two high-end electric motorcycles.

The Orxa Mantis is powered by a 27 HP electric motor that produces 93 Nm of torque and is capable of a top speed of 135 km/h. This car has a sprint time of 8.9 seconds between zero to 100 kilometers per hour. Compared to the Ultraviolette F77, which is the standard-edition version, it has a power output of 36 hp and a peak torque of 85 Nm. This vehicle is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds according to the company.

The Orxa Mantis is powered by an 8.9 kWh battery pack that is rated to deliver a distance of 221 km in accordance with the IDC test cycle. Its range is 206 kilometers, whereas the Ultraviolette F77 (standard) has a battery that offers a capacity of 7.11 kWh.

 

It is available exclusively in the limited-edition Space Edition of the Orxa Mantis, which is priced at Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Ultraviolette F77 starts at Rs 3.80 lakh and goes up to Rs 5.60 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the limited-edition Space Edition which is priced at Rs 3.80 lakh.
