Pre-bookings for Simple Dot One will begin on 27th January.

Simple Dot One Electric scooter

The Simple Dot One Electric scooter has been launched by Simple Energy at Rs 139,999 ex-showroom, Bangalore. The pre-booking period will begin from January 27 for all customers. From January 1, 2024, existing Simple One customers who have booked Simple One will be able to switch to Simple Dot One. Making a reservation will require customers to pay a token of 1,947. Banglore will be the first city to receive deliveries.

By the manufacturer, the dot one is 100% manufactured in India. There is a fixed & small battery back in this electric scooter, which is based on the simple one electric scooter. By IDC claims, the Simple Dot One is said to have a range of 151 kilometers. To charge the Simple Dot One’s 3.7 kWh battery pack, the manufacturer will provide a 750-watt charger. Following the Simple one, the dot one has a unique set of tyres that help to extend the bike’s range. Wheels with 12-inch tires are tubeless, 90-90, and have a circumference of 90 centimeters.

Simple Dot One Electric Scooter

It has the same mechanics as the electric scooter One but has a smaller battery, which is reflected in the price.

There are six colors available for the scooter:

A combination of Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, Lightx, Brazenx, and Azure Blue. There is a manufacturer’s claim that the scooter can go from 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and that the electric motor provides a maximum power output of 8.5 kW and a maximum torque output of 72 Nm.

There are several features of this electric scooter, including a combi braking system, a touch-screen instrument cluster, and a storage compartment under the seat that holds 35 liters. Front and rear suspensions are provided by telescopic forks, and brakes are provided by discs at both ends of the scooter. There were only a small number of customers who were able to purchase the dot one at the first price of one lakh. Although Simple Energy has expanded its portfolio, it continues to encounter supply problems.
