Ola S1 Air
It is expected that Ola Electric will host an event this month in which several announcements will be made. As part of the launch of the S1 Air electric scooter, it is the company’s most affordable electric scooter. Recently, the manufacturer of the S1 Air shared a post on social media stating that the vehicle has been tested for over 500000 kilometers and has passed all tests.
Unlike the S51 Pro and S1 models, the Ola S1 Air features a hub motor instead of the belt drive used in the S1 and S1 Pro. When it was first announced, the S1 Air had a motor with a power output of 2.7kW. However, Ola upgraded the motor to a power output of 4.5kW. There is a 3-kWh battery that powers the scooter. The company claims that a single charge of Ola Electric will allow the vehicle to travel up to 125 kilometers.
As far as load times are concerned, Ola did not provide any information. Additionally, it comes with three different modes of driving, which include Normal, Sport, and Eco. There is a maximum speed of 85 kilometers per hour for the scooter
There are some differences between the S1 model and the S1 Air. Ola had to cut some features to keep the electric scooter price down. The front uses a telescopic fork instead of a monoshock. The rear has the same housing, with the monoshock replaced by a double shock absorber. Front and rear disc brakes have been changed to drum brakes. The slightly impractical curved back of the S1 and S1 Pro has been replaced with a flat bottom. The rear grab handle has also been changed to a simpler unit. Visually, the S1 Air looks almost identical to the S1 and S1 Pro. LED daytime running lights, headlights, front aprons, body parts, and rear lights are retained. Available in five two-tone color themes: Coral Glam, Porcelain White, Midnight Blue, and Liquid Silver.
